1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and APPSY and govern your use of the Paycheck mobile app, website, support services, and related features. By creating an account or using Paycheck, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use Paycheck. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement where you live.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your login credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You may not share, sell, transfer, or create accounts through automated or deceptive means. Paycheck is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law.
3. License and Acceptable Use
APPSY grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Paycheck for lawful personal purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable app-store rules.
You may not:
- Use Paycheck for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Attempt to bypass security, plan limits, access controls, or rate limits.
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or commercially exploit Paycheck.
- Upload malware or interfere with Paycheck or another user's access.
- Use automated systems to scrape or overload the service.
- Enter information you do not have permission to use.
4. Financial Information and AI Disclaimer
Paycheck helps you organize information you provide and may generate budgets, projections, insights, reminders, and AI-assisted responses. These outputs are informational and educational only. They are not professional financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, credit, or debt advice.
AI-generated content and calculations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, verifying important information, and making your own decisions. Consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.
5. Connected Banks and Imported Data
Bank linking is optional and provided through Plaid and participating financial institutions. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. Paycheck does not control whether a bank supports a connection or whether imported balances and transactions are complete, current, or accurate.
You authorize Paycheck and its providers to access and process the account data needed to provide features you request. You remain responsible for reviewing imported data and correcting or removing records as needed.
6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, trial terms, and included features are shown before purchase and may vary by country or platform. Subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play and automatically renew unless canceled through the applicable store before renewal.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your app-store account. Refunds, taxes, payment methods, and billing disputes are handled under the applicable store's policies. Canceling stops future renewal; access normally continues until the end of the paid period.
7. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of the information and content you submit. You give APPSY permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve Paycheck, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
Do not enter bank passwords, full payment card numbers, government IDs, or other unnecessary sensitive information in notes, support requests, or chats. You can export or delete account data using available app controls.
8. Third-Party Services
Paycheck may use or link to third-party services, including app stores, Plaid, authentication providers, AI and transcription providers, and payment or subscription services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. APPSY is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
9. Availability, Changes, and Termination
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain and improve Paycheck, comply with law, or address security and operational needs. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.
You may stop using Paycheck or delete your account at any time. APPSY may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create risk, abuse the service, or when required by law. Provisions that should logically survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paycheck is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. APPSY does not guarantee specific savings, financial outcomes, uninterrupted service, or the accuracy of imported or generated information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, APPSY will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or financial opportunities arising from your use of Paycheck. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Changes and Applicable Law
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
